I will be doing basically the exact same repair.
These pics are of the floor when I looked at it in the winter of 2009/Spring 2010 - Something I missed when I did my survey of the boat on purchase - I was so impressed by much of the rest of the boat that I did not lift up the floor boards to look at the bilge.
Several other side storage areas, and lockers etc I had checked and found them to be very dry, so I assumed the bilge would be the same.
Now that said, am I disappointed, well not really, not for what we paid for the boat. As the link above shows, this would seem to have been a common issue for this boat, as it was ply that was glassed in without any resin on the wood itself. So burried under the floor you can image any significant moisture would get trapped in summer and work at that wood.
The plan will include cutting the tabs off the really bad ones (1 or two will come out for sure) and copy them on to new wood I have. I plan to wash out the bilge as best as I can.. glass in new ones. and then give is a couple of really good coats of exterior house paint (which will be used all around the interior of the boat). I have a contour gauge that I can get the shape of the floor, so the new ones should fit in nice.. and maybe get a teak and holly or some veneer sole and replace the plywood.. NO carpet! :)
